Building Entrepreneurial Ventures from the Ground Up
Owners and managers of new or recently created businesses face a variety of challenges in their efforts to build a solid foundation for their ventures. This workshop starts with the basics including identifying business ideas and opportunities, transforming opportunities into sustainable business models; developing value propositions and competitive advantages; dealing with other startup and liability issues; analyzing business feasibility; developing capitalization strategies for new ventures; and other that pertain to participants’ businesses. Participants will have identified the basic elements of their business plan and the additional research necessary to take the next steps in the development process. An introduction to the Business Assessment Matrix (BAM) will also be included.
